Science Olympiad Foundation’s (SOF) National Science Olympiad (NSO) Class 12 is taken at two different levels:
Level 1: Test taken at the schools of the participants during the regular school hours. Schools get an option of 3 dates which they can choose as per their convenience.
Level 2: This level is conducted for the qualifiers of level 1, for class 3 to 12. These include:
- The top 25 rankers: zone as well class wise.
- The toppers, ie. top 5% class wise, of level 1 test.
- A class topper, from a class with at least 10 registrations, who scores a minimum of 50% qualifying marks.
