The Common Universities Entrance Test CUET – 2022 is being conducted by the National Test Agency (NTA). With the introduction of the CUET exam, the students can now get admission in multiple Central Universities by giving a single exam. The exam will be conducted in the month of July-2022. The CUET Exam Pattern follows 3 sections. So following is the syllabus for each Section.
Section 1:
1A: The languages to be selected in this section are: Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi and Urdu.
1B: French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, Chinese.
Questions asked in this Language Section/Communication will be
1. Reading Comprehension:
There will be three types of passages (maximum 300-350 words):
i. Factual
ii. Narrative
iii. Literary
2. Verbal Ability
3. Rearranging the parts
4. Choosing the correct word
5. Synonyms and Antonyms
6. Vocabulary
A candidate can choose a maximum of any three languages from both IA and IB taken together. Third language chosen should be in lieu with the domain subject selected by the candidate.
Section 2:
The following are the domain specific subjects: (Total 27 subjects)

Section 3:
There will be a total of 75 questions in this section, out of which 60 are to be answered which are of the following topics:
General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative
Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra
geometry/mensuration/statistics taught till Grade 8), Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
